Abundant Life History

in 2018, Saint Anthony Lutheran Church invited St. Michael’s Lutheran Church to join a confirmation retreat geared at helping youth explore their faith and understand the gifts of relationships and sexuality in ways that are affirming, safe, and developmentally appropriate. Educator Karin Galloway Egge facilitated this retreat with other OWL curriculum leaders (Our Whole Lives)

Recognizing the gifts and limitations of OWL, leaders at St. Anthony Park Lutheran Church and St. Michael’s worked with Karin Galloway Egge to develop a new curriculum, enhancing and expanding workshops and activities for youth, creating the Abundant Life Retreat.

Each year since, additional congregations have joined the partnership growing to over 11 church partnerships across the Twin Cities!
